Item changed: Edmonton Headlines: Tuesday, April 24, 2018
What happened: We corrected the direction of Edmonton’s Valley Line LRT currently under construction, as it’s headed to the southeast.
Reason: I always confuse Edmonton’s southeast for the southwest, for some reason. Maybe I’ll finally get it right once LRT runs to Mill Woods.
So, if you read the story right after it was posted you might have thought the river valley breakthrough for construction crews was related to the Valley Line West (not yet under construction) or even that a rogue group had taken it upon themselves to build our Capital Line deeper into the southwest. Nope, just a directional typo.
If you spot an error or have questions about a detail in any of our content, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
